Return to Aquicuana | 🌿 Kay Pacha Initiative’s Amazon Rainforest Documentary

Deep in the Bolivian Amazon, Kay Pacha Initiative returns to the Aquicuana Reserve - home to the now fully operational Motacu Research Station. For the first time, volunteers and researchers are working on-site, conducting conservation studies and projects in one of Earth’s most biodiverse regions. With the support of its donors, Kay Pacha is working to expand the scope and size of the Aquicuana, and continuing to protect the rainforest while creating long-term benefits for the local communities who depend on it. This return comes in the wake of the worst wildfire season in the region’s history, which devastated large areas of the Bolivian Amazon and deeply impacted nearby communities. The urgency to act has never been greater. 🌿 To donate to Kay Pacha Initiative and to help protect the Aquicuana Reserve for future generations visit us at www.kaypachainitiative.org/donate Directed by Brian Sachson Produced by Odyssey Filmworks Director Of Photography Joseph Del Valle Starring Alejandra Marupa Alvarez, Isaias Alvarez Roca, Pamela Alvarez Chao, Blanca Canamari, Wigberto Rivero, Erik Taylor, Tijl Timmermans, Vincent Vos Edited by Brian Sachson Sound Mix by Joseph Del Valle Color by Adam Reign Translation by Alejandra Alana Titles/Graphics by Jason Ortenberg Music by Alt MLK, Philip Anderson, Brock Hewitt, Sky Toes To learn more visit us at: www.kaypachainitiative.org www.instagram.com/briansachson www.instagram.com/kaypachainitiative www.instagram.com/odysseyfilmworks www.sustainablebolivia.org
